Area Manager
Want more responsibility?
We hire Area Managers that oversee the staff and basic operations of 10-15 assigned aquatic facilities throughout the summer. These individuals will be responsible for checking specific pools multiple times weekly and completing detailed checklists each time.
Area Managers will hold bi-weekly manager meetings in their area to discuss management issues, deliver supplies and paychecks, and complete any minor repairs. Area Managers report to the Aquatics Directors.
What is required to be an Area Manager?
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified (Check Pool Professionals training calendars)
- American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification (Check the Pool Professionals training calendars)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) by the NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation) (Check the Pool Professionals training calendars)
- Wake County Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- NSPF Hazard Communication and Chlorine Safety Training (Pool Professionals provides after hiring)
- Extremely flexible schedule (must be able to work weekends and summer holidays)
- Experience in the Aquatic Industry
