Lifeguard Job Description
Work under the guidance of a supportive and experienced team, and report directly the the Pool Manager and Assistant Manager.
Lifeguard Duties
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- Remain alert and attentive while on the lifeguard stand.
- Enforce all club rules fairly and consistently.
- Greet and check in members and guests.
- Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with members and guests.
- Clean and maintain the pool deck and restrooms throughout your shift.
- Maintain the SCC during your shift:
- Safety
- Customer Service
- Cleanliness
You will need the following Training and Certifications to work as a Lifeguard for Pool Professionals:
- ARC Lifeguard/First Aid Certification (Check the Pool Professionals training calendars)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Check the Pool Professionals training calendars)
- Hazard Communication (Pool Professionals provides after hiring)
