Become a Swim Team Coach
AquaVentures Swim Academy is a subsidiary of Pool Professionals.
AquaVentures Swim Academy is looking for quality swim coaches. We believe in running a program that focuses on individual improvement, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun.
We are looking for coaches who can provide quality instruction through proper technique. Ensuring safety of all swimmers is essential, as well as creating a positive and fun learning environment.
Details
- Additional hours are available if applicant is willing to teach private and group swim lessons.
- Summer swim teams practice in May, June and July.
- Hours are mornings and/or early evenings during the week, and three Saturday meets.
Ideal applicants would be swim instructors, swim team coaches, competitive swimmers, and/or school teachers/educators with an aquatic background.
Certification Requirements
- Adult/Child/Infant or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
Certifications are not required to interview, but must be obtained before the summer if hired. Please check the Pool Professionals training calendar for course offerings.
