David Vartanesian

David Vartanesian is the Director of Staffing Operations for Pool Professionals of the Triangle.
David has been with Pool Professionals since 2008, but has been working in the aquatics field for over 15 years. Before joining the Pool Professionals team, he managed multiple swimming facilities in the private sector.
David is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Staffing Division, including scheduling routes, training, coaching and providing assistance to staff, chemistry, repairs, management and customer service questions.
David's certifications include:
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) by the NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation)
- Wake County Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified
- American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification
- Certified Stenner® Service Technician
- Jack's Magic Certified Stain Specialist (CSS)™
David was born and raised in Raleigh. He now resides in Clayton. He has a degree in Business Management, and says that Carter-Finley Stadium is his second home on a fall Saturday afternoon (GO PACK!). When he is not working, he also enjoys time spent at the beach with a fishing rod in the ocean.
Ali Greiner

Ali Greiner is the Regional Aquatic Supervisor for Pool Professionals of the Triangle.
Ali has been with Pool Professionals since 2009, and has worked in the general aquatics field since 2004. Before she came to Pool Professionals, she managed a swim and tennis club in Cary for three and a half years.
Ali oversees the basic operations of Pool Professionals aquatic facilities. She is also in charge of all the hiring for seasonal staff, which includes overseeing and training managers, lifeguards and pool attendants throughout the season, as well as coordinating orientations, meetings and in-service trainings.
Ali's certifications include:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid Instructor
- Wake County Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) by the NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation)
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified

Ali grew up in Kingston, New York and moved to Raleigh, NC in 1985. She graduated from Wingate University with a degree in science, and a course concentration in Recreation Administration. She played Division II basketball for three years at Wingate, and is an avid Duke fan!
