Lifeguard

Lifeguard Job Description

Reports to pool manager and assistant pool manager

Lifeguard Duties

Arrive ten minutes before your shift begins.
Clock in with the automated system.
Complete opening duties checklist.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Do not chat with friends or co-workers.
Remain alert and attentive while on the lifeguard stand.
Consistently scan your pool for distressed swimmers.
Enforce all club rules fairly and consistently.
Greet and check in members and guests.
Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with members and guests.
Clean and maintain the pool deck throughout your shift.
Clean and maintain restroom throughout your shift.
Maintain pool color, chemistry, clarity, and cleanliness throughout your shift.
